Habit stacking is all about linking small actions together. When you add something you already do, like having that morning coffee, with a task you need to get done, you naturally create a routine. Over time, these little habits blend into your day, making things feel effortless and automatic.

One of the biggest mistakes I see small business owners make is not connecting all their automated bank feeds in Xero. Here’s why it matters:

If you haven’t connected every business account, you could be missing transactions, making your financial records inaccurate. This could lead to nasty surprises like unexpected tax bills or cash flow issues 💸.

Here’s how you can fix it:
✅ Connect all your business accounts (PayPal, Stripe, etc.), but leave your personal accounts out.
✅ Review your transactions weekly.
✅ Set aside time monthly to reconcile your Xero with your bank statements for complete accuracy.
