If you are managing your own books, it's really important you're across the ins and outs of your accounts.

It doesn't have to be an overwhelming exercise. Start small and be consistent ⤵️

➡️ Check your bank account daily for incoming funds, and pay any expenses you need to.
➡️ Every week spend 15 minutes cross-checking your expenses, recording new expenses, cross-checking for double ups and incorrect amounts and doing your reconciling in your accounting software.
➡️ Spend 30 minutes a fortnight managing your money. Set aside what you need for Tax, BAS, expenses and savings.
➡️ Spend 1 hour a month strategising your money. Take note of your profit vs your goals, and make plans for the next month.
