1️⃣ Revenue – Cost of Goods Sold = Gross Profit
2️⃣ Gross Profit – Operating Expenses = Net Profit
3️⃣ Net Profit – Taxes = Net Profit After Tax

As a true numbers gal, I am all about following the figures to find facts BUT, I also know there's a lot more to it. Sadly, the perception is a little different.

Here's to busting those industry myths 💥

1️⃣ No one-size-fits-all: Every bookkeeper brings unique skills and services to the table—so comparing them is like comparing apples to oranges.

2️⃣ Outsourcing = Growing Your Team: Outsourcing doesn’t mean you’re offshoring (unless you want to?) or failing; it’s about adding skilled hands to help your business thrive. Whether it’s books, socials, or your website, outsourcing is simply a smart move to scale.

3️⃣ Ethics Matter: A registered BAS agent or bookkeeper should only take on work they’re experienced in. Anything less? They’re not doing right by you.

4️⃣ AI & Bookkeeping Evolution: The shift from desktop systems to AI and cloud-based tools means bookkeeping now spans data security, government reporting, and seamless collaboration with accountants.
